We're recruiting an Electrically Biased Shift Engineer to join our team near Letchworth , reporting directly to the Maintenance Team Leader. You'll be apprenticeship-qualified or hold an equivalent engineering qualification.

What You'll Be Doing

• Carrying out preventative maintenance
• Electrical fault finding on PLCs, motors, production lines and control panels
• Responding to breakdowns
• Supporting new machinery installations
• Contributing to engineering projects
• Driving continuous improvement within the engineering team
• Identifying and resolving ongoing issues with long-term solutions
• Working a 4 on / 4 off rotating shift (days & nights)

Technical Requirements

• Proven experience as a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer
• City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Electrical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
• Strong mechanical and electrical competence
• Confident with electrical and PLC fault finding
