An established children’s residential care provider is seeking a Registered Manager for a 4-bed EBD home currently rated GOOD by Ofsted.
The home is operational and currently supports 2 young people.
Duties:- Register with Ofsted and maintain compliance with Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people
- Lead the day-to-day management of the home
- Oversee care planning and risk management
- Manage staffing levels, rotas and budgets
- Maintain and improve Ofsted standards
Requirements:- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards within required timeframe)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a children’s residential setting (within last 5 years)
- At least 1 year in a supervisory or management role
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted inspection framework
- Experience supporting children with EBD
On-call: Rotational basis (2–3 days).
