Ocean Import Operations - Heathrow - Feltham | Up to £35,000 DOE

We are working with a well-established global, growing freight forwarder with multiple sites across the UK (10+ locations) to find a new Ocean Import Freight Forwarder for their Feltham office.

The company has a high staff retention rate and have a great reputation for looking after their staff. They have a really strong presence in the market and are unaffected by recession fears or recent US tariffs.

Package:

£30,000 - £35,000, depending on experience
23 days holiday (increasing to 30 with service) plus 8 bank holidays

Experience Required:

Experience in Ocean freight forwarding
Strong communication and organisational skills
A proactive, solutions-driven approach

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate international ocean import shipments from origin to destination
Book cargo space with ocean carriers and arrange inland transportation
Manage and verify all required shipping and customs documentation
Ensure compliance with import regulations and oversee customs clearance
Communicate effectively with shippers, consignees, carriers, and customs brokers
Provide clients with timely tracking updates and shipment visibility
Assist in arranging marine cargo insurance as needed
Proactively address shipment issues, delays, or discrepancies
