The Opportunity
A leading residential developer is looking to appoint an Assistant or Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team ahead of a major new build housing project starting imminently in Deptford.
This is a hands-on role ideal for a QS with 2-4 years' experience looking to step up within a high-performing team. Based from their London Bridge office, you'll support the full commercial delivery of a major multi-unit residential scheme, reporting into a Senior QS and working closely with the wider project and pre-construction team.
  
Key Responsibilities

Assist with procurement and management of subcontract packages
Prepare and issue tender documentation and analyse returns
Help manage budgets, forecasts, valuations, and variations
Attend commercial and design coordination meetings
Support cost planning, reporting, and payment schedules
Work with senior commercial staff to ensure smooth delivery of the project

What We're Looking For

2-4 years' experience in Quantity Surveying (residential or main contracting preferred)
Degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying or similar
Strong commercial awareness and willingness to take on responsibility
Good communication and reporting skills
Motivated, proactive, and keen to grow with the business
