A vibrant and supportive primary school in Harrow is looking to appoint a Year 1 Class Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This full-time, permanent position is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated teacher to support pupils as they transition from the Early Years and continue their learning journey in Key Stage 1.

About the Role:

Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all learners in Year 1

Support pupils' development across the curriculum with a focus on early literacy and numeracy

*

Foster a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment

*

Assess and monitor progress in line with school policies and national standards

*

Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants and senior leadership

Candidate Requirements:

*

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

*

Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally in Year 1

*

Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and early learning transition

*

Excellent classroom management and communication skills

*

A reflective, organised and enthusiastic approach to teaching
