Religious Education Teacher

Are you a thoughtful and passionate educator with a love for Religious Education? We are working with a forward-thinking secondary school in Enfield that is looking for an inspiring RE Teacher to join their humanities team on a part-time, permanent basis from September 2025.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a diverse and inclusive school community where respect, reflection, and dialogue are at the heart of learning. The school encourages pupils to explore worldviews, develop empathy, and engage in meaningful discussion—making Religious Education a vital part of the curriculum.

About the Role

As the school's Religious Education Teacher, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5, helping students understand different religions, philosophies, and ethical perspectives. The school is flexible on days, allowing a working pattern that suits your schedule.

You'll join a well-established Humanities department, where collaboration and innovation are encouraged. Pupils are enthusiastic and engaged, and the department is well-resourced with a dynamic curriculum that inspires both academic and personal growth.

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Specialism or strong background in Religious Education
• Experience teaching RE at KS3, KS4, and ideally KS5
• Ability to create a safe and respectful space for discussion
• Open-minded, reflective, and committed to student development

Located in the heart of Enfield, this inclusive secondary school serves a richly diverse student body. The school places a strong emphasis on character education, critical thinking, and community. Staff are valued and supported with excellent CPD opportunities, strong leadership, and a culture of wellbeing.

If you're ready to make a real impact and join a school that values your expertise, we'd love to hear from you.

Empower students to explore, question, and understand the world—one lesson at a time.
