Registered Manager Fostering

South West, TA4, UK
Apply Now

Company: PIONEER TALENT

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

Salary: £55000 - £65000/annum negotiable for strong candidates

At Pioneer Talent, we're absolutely delighted to be working with one of the most values-led, child-centred and forward-thinking fostering agencies in the UK to help find their next Registered Manager for the South West region.

This is a rare opportunity to join an organisation that doesn't just talk about doing things differently - it really does. The people delivering care day-to-day directly benefit from the organisation's success. There are no shareholders - just a team of passionate professionals focused on making a difference for children and young people.

The Role

You'll be home-based (anywhere across Gloucestershire, Somerset, Devon or Hampshire), with flexibility to travel to local offices when needed. You'll lead an experienced, stable team of Team Managers who are already doing fantastic work - your job is to guide, inspire and support them to continue achieving excellent outcomes.

And you won't be alone. You'll be part of a national leadership team where ideas are shared, voices are heard, and support is always available. You'll also be backed by strong infrastructure - including HR, QA, carer recruitment and admin - so you can stay focused on people, not paperwork.

Why This Role?

* ✅ Team Stability & Low Caseloads: You'll inherit a settled, well-supported team with manageable workloads and a Children's Champion in post.

* ✅ Strong Carer Recruitment: This region is bucking national trends by successfully recruiting new foster carers - giving you momentum to build on.

* ✅ Real Influence: You'll have space and autonomy to shape how things are done, with support from peers who genuinely want you to succeed

Who We're Looking For

You'll be a qualified social worker, registered with Social Work England, and have experience in fostering or a similar setting. You're someone who leads with warmth, clarity and conviction - a people-first leader who knows how to build trust, drive standards and support colleagues through change and growth.

Most of all, you'll be someone who believes in children's potential, values the role foster carers play, and wants to be part of a team that's genuinely doing things the right way.

If that sounds like you - and you're ready to take the next step in a leadership role that really means something - we'd love to hear from you.
