Job Title: Warehouse Manager Department: Ink Distribution Warehouse Reports to: Operations Manager About us: Epson Telford Limited was established in 1987, we are on a 50-acre site and operate a 24/7 manufacturing site.
We are the only European manufacturing and distribution site for ink cartridges and textile inks.
These products are shipped to an Epson warehouse in Germany where they are then distributed throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Quality and innovation is at the heart of everything we do, from our Cleanroom environment to our in-house machinery, design and technology improvements from which we use our own Epson 6-axis robots.
Salary: £50,000 to £54,000 depending on ; Job Purpose: To ensure the logistics performance & processes are in line with the KPI targets.
Drive business improvements across the company.
Performance management and communication to staff is consistent and effective.
Job Duties: Operational Management of the logistics Department, to deliver on the targets set within the company business Plan that relate to the production department.
Ensure the full unitisation of SAP systems to manage stock levels, delivery times and transport costs and evaluate performance and quality and to plan improvements.
To deliver on the Key Performance targets on a monthly basis, to drive a culture of ownership within the logistics department, to ensure the quality, safety and reliability of all processes.
The establishment of performance targets in line with the company expectation and industry standards.
To establish and development of systems, that monitor and report departmental efficiencies and workflow.
To ensure that staff are managed in accordance with performance criteria and targets.
Identification of training needs for all personnel to ensure maximum flexibility within the operation through training and development.
To drive a continuous improvement culture within your teams.
The generation and management for the department Budget & Business Plan, in line with Company and unit objectives.
The generation of Management reports providing clear and concise performance information.
Adherence to KPI to ensure drive of improvements within the Department on all levels.
Ensure the correct data is captured and reported in the format that drives this logistics Department forward.
Ensure all products and Parts stock is managed in line with Company stock accuracy targets.
Control and manage the half yearly stock take in accordance what procedures.
Ensure all areas are in control of monthly tasks in relation to PI and stock items.
Ensure the organisation of the storage and distribution of goods, to ensure that the right products are delivered to the right location on time.
Maintain Company policies and procedures.
Working To maintain showroom factory conditions.
Experience required: Previous, proven management within a Warehousing environment.
Experience on managing budgets.
Have good written and verbal communication ; Be resutls driven.
Qualifications: IOSH and/or NEBOSH qualifications - Advantageous.
