Soldering Operative - Fareham - Starting ASAP - £12.75 - £14.50 per hour DOE
TeamJobs are recruiting for Soldering Operatives to join our client, a leading electronics manufacturer, on a temporary to permanent basis.
What this Soldering Operative role will include:
- Perform hand soldering, rework, and repair to IPC-A-610 Class 3 requirements
- Assemble through-hole, SMT, and mixed-technology electronic components
- Inspect solder joints using microscopes and magnification tools to ensure Class 3 compliance
- Read and interpret schematics and drawings
- Quality check work to ensure it meets specifications
Requirements for this Soldering Operative Role:
- Identify common components and equipment
- IPC-A-610 Class 3 certification (current or previously certified)
- Proven experience in soldering high-reliability electronic assemblies
- Strong knowledge of soldering techniques, materials, and inspection criteria
Hours & Pay for this Assembly Operative Role:
- Monday - Friday
- 7/7.30am - 4/4.30pm Monday to Thursday & Finish at 12.30pm on Friday;
- £12.75 - £14 per hour, depending on experience
