Business Development Manager Multisector Software Solutions

**The Important Story:**

Following a buy out from Capita PLC in 2018, our client is on a fast growth track backed by Private Equity businesses. They are now going to market IN 2020 with a Analytics as a Service offering.

**The Overall responsibility of the Business Development Manager:**

As the BDM, you will be responsible for generating new customers in a specific region and achieving targets. And to be an active and positive member of the Commercial team. **We will expect you to be very strong in Prospecting, building a pipeline and being selfsufficient in generating your own leads through to closing the sale.**

The Solution is focused on the following Sectors:

Hotels, Motorway Services, Hospitality, Supermarkets, Retail, Education, NHS, Transport, Property Management

**As the Business Development Manager, your daily duties will include:**

- Research and understand territory to know where target sites could be located
- Researching client backgrounds and understanding the markets in which they operate, in order to fully understand the needs of the client
- Identification of new business opportunities through both lead funnel and self gen
- Build robust pipeline based on personal conversion ratios to ensure target delivery month in month out
- Professionally manage client engagement from early stages through to contract signature working closely with all stakeholders to deliver a brilliant customer experience
- To manage internal and external stakeholders effectively and professionally at all times this is not a job you can succeed in on your own
- Understand the commercial aspect of the proposed sites & look to review/improve if required.
- Working conscientiously and professionally at all times.
- Assisting in the development of business and marketing plans for the company, identifying and qualifying growth potential.
- Ability to deliver professional presentations to an internal & external audience.
- Effectively plan client visits, travel & overnight stays to compliment the business

**To be a successful BDM, you will have the following skills and experiences:**

- A background in 100% prospecting and New Business Focus.
- A new business focused sales/commercial background in B2B
- You can drive and able to travel within your region
- A proven trackrecord of New business generation results.
- Experience of effectively managing customer relationships to achieve and exceed sales and margin targets

In return, the Business Development Manager will receive a salary range from £30,000 up to £45,000 basic with a £25,000 commission, uncapped OTE with Accelerators, a Car allowance and full benefits package
