Are you a passionate Religious Studies teacher looking for a new challenge in a high-achieving grammar school?
Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Religious Studies teacher to join a prestigious grammar school known for its academic excellence and supportive ethos. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire students across Key Stages 3 to 5 and contribute to a thriving Humanities department.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging Religious Studies lessons that promote critical thinking and respect for different worldviews

Teach across KS3, KS4 and preferably KS5 

Contribute to curriculum development and extra-curricular enrichment activities

Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback

Work collaboratively with colleagues and uphold the values of the school community

The ideal candidate will have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)/ PGCE

A strong academic background in Religious Studies or Theology

Experience teaching in a secondary school setting, preferably in a grammar or selective school

Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for fostering discussion and reflection

A commitment to inclusive education and high expectations for all learner

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
