A leading global logistics client of ours is looking to recruit a Credit Controller for their finance team. 

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Credit Controller to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the company’s credit control processes, ensuring timely payments from clients while maintaining positive relationships. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the credit control process, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts.
• Conduct regular reviews of accounts receivable to identify overdue accounts and take appropriate action.
• Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently to maintain up-to-date financial records.
• Resolve invoice disputes in collaboration with internal departments
• Communicate with clients via phone and email regarding payment reminders and queries, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
• Analyse financial data to assess credit risk and make informed decisions regarding credit limits for clients.
• Ensure compliance with company credit policy and procedures
• Maintain accurate records of all communications and transactions related to credit control activities.

Key Experience

• Previous experience in a credit control or finance-related role is highly desirable.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software Sage.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent analytical skills to evaluate financial information and make sound decisions based on data analysis.
