Job Summary

We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Lathe Operator to join a precision engineering business based in South Lanarkshire, responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC machinery to produce high-quality components.

Key Responsibilities

Program, set, and operate CNC lathes within a precision engineering environment
Manufacture components to tight tolerances and high-quality standards
Interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Carry out routine machine maintenance and tooling changes
Inspect finished components to ensure accuracy and quality
Work efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines
Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Essential Experience & Skills

Proven experience programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes
Ability to read and interpret technical/engineering drawings
Strong attention to detail and quality control
Experience working in a precision engineering environment

Desired Experience

Experience with Fanuc controls

Additional Information

Dayshift role - 37 hours per week plus overtime available
Rate of up to £20.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
