We're looking for an experienced carpenter to join a busy social housing contractor, carrying out reactive maintenance across East London.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working in occupied properties, and delivering high-quality repairs that make a real difference to residents' homes. If you're reliable, take pride in your finish, and can hit the ground running, we want to hear from you.

What you'll be doing:

• Carrying out reactive carpentry repairs in social housing properties

• Repairing and replacing doors, frames, locks, skirting, architraves, and kitchen units

• Making good after works to ensure a clean, professional finish

• Diagnosing issues and completing first-time fixes where possible

• Working efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship

• Providing a professional and respectful service in occupied homes

• Accurately recording works completed and materials used

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience as a Carpenter within reactive maintenance or social housing

• Strong all-round carpentry skills with attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload

• Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach

• Professional manner and good communication skills

• Full UK driving licence
