Centre Manager - Children with Disabilities Residential & Respite ServiceSalary: £55,620 - £58,692Location: North East London (Local Authority)

We are seeking an experienced and committed Centre Manager to lead a specialist residential and respite service for children and young people with disabilities and complex needs. This is a senior leadership position within a local authority, offering the opportunity to shape services and deliver outstanding outcomes for children and families.

Minimum Requirements - applications will only be considered if you meet all of the following:

  • NVQ Level 5 (or equivalent) in Leadership and Management.

  • Registered Managers Award.

  • Enhanced DBS clearance.

  • Substantial experience managing residential or respite services for children with disabilities and complex needs.

  • Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding legislation, and best practice in children's social care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire a high-performing team providing residential and respite care.

  • Ensure full compliance with Ofsted and Children's Homes Regulations.

  • Oversee the service's Statement of Purpose and drive continuous improvement.

  • Manage a significant budget (circa £800k) and ensure effective use of resources.

  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, partners, and the local community.
