Tradewind Recruitment are supporting a welcoming secondary school in Wrexham who are looking for an enthusiastic Science Teacher with a strong background in Biology to join their team on a maternity cover basis. This is an excellent opportunity to teach in a well-resourced department with supportive leadership and great behaviour.

The role:

Teaching Biology across KS3 and KS4

Delivering engaging, practical and theory-based lessons

Contributing to the wider science team

Supporting pupils of mixed abilities to progress

Ensuring excellent behaviour, safety and safeguarding

You'll need:

QTS or equivalent teaching qualification

Strong subject knowledge, particularly in Biology

Confident classroom management

DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
