Area Nursery Manager

Salary: £50,000 – £45,000 + Car Allowance (£5000)

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Location: Area travel required across Norwich Area (5 Settings)

What You’ll Do

As Area Nursery Manager, you will:

• Oversee and support 5 nursery settings to deliver outstanding childcare and Ofsted results.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives, ensuring excellence in EYFS delivery, curriculum planning, and safeguarding.
• Work closely with Nursery Managers to drive best practice, professional development, and continuous improvement.
• Conduct regular quality audits, compliance checks, and mock inspections.
• Provide hands-on coaching and mentoring to develop confident, capable leaders.
• Collaborate with regional teams to ensure the best possible outcomes for children, families, and staff.

• Each nursery achieving at least a ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted rating.
• Strong, confident Nursery Managers empowered to deliver exceptional care.
• Robust compliance and safeguarding standards maintained across all settings.
• Engaged teams delivering a nurturing, child-centred learning environment.

About You

We’re looking for a proven leader with:

• Minimum Level 3 childcare qualification
• 2+ years’ experience in a senior early years or multi-site management role.
• A successful track record in improving quality and achieving Outstanding Ofsted outcomes.
• Excellent knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and SEND practice.
• Strong communication, coaching, and people management skills.
• A proactive, positive, and organised approach — with the flexibility to travel regionally.
