We're working with a drylining contractor based in Cardiff who is looking for a freelance Estimator to join the team on a long-term basis. This is a great opportunity for someone with solid estimating experience, ideally within drylining or interiors, who's looking for consistent work and a steady pipeline of projects.
The role will be based in the Cardiff office, working closely with the commercial team to prepare competitive tenders and support ongoing projects.
What you'll be doing:

Preparing detailed cost estimates from drawings and specifications
*
Completing accurate take-offs for drylining, partitions, ceilings and associated works
*
Reviewing subcontractor quotes and supporting value engineering
*
Working with the wider team to submit tenders and manage enquiries
What we're looking for:

Previous estimating experience, ideally in drylining or fit-out
*
Comfortable working from drawings and using Excel or estimating software
*
Able to work independently and manage deadlines
*
Based within a commutable distance of Cardiff
This is a long-term freelance position with CIS payments available. Immediate start for the right person.
