A leading residential developer is looking for an Assistant Site Manager to join their team on a new-build social housing scheme in Gloucester. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone from a house building background who is looking to progress their career in a structured and supportive environment.

You'll work closely with an experienced Site Manager to help deliver a quality residential development, assisting with all site-based responsibilities including health & safety, programme management, subcontractor coordination, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Site Manager in the day-to-day running of the site

Ensure health & safety standards are maintained at all times

*

Coordinate subcontractors and site labour

*

Monitor progress against programme and report updates

*

Maintain a clean, safe, and organised site

*

Ensure high standards of workmanship and quality control

Requirements:

*

Previous experience in a similar role within house building

*

SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certificates (essential)

*

A proactive, can-do attitude with strong communication skills

*

Keen to learn, develop and take on more responsibility over time

*

Able to work well as part of a team and follow direction
