Full-Time Teaching Assistant - SEND Unit - Primary School in Tameside

Tradewind Recruitment are currently working with a fantastic Primary School in Tameside who are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join their SEND unit. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about making a real difference in children's lives.

The Role:

Full-time Teaching Assistant position within the school's dedicated SEND unit

Supporting children with a range of additional needs, both 1:1 and in small groups

Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement personalised learning plans

Creating a nurturing, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Have prior experience working with children with SEND in a school or similar setting

Be patient, resilient, and adaptable in their approach

Be passionate about inclusion and committed to supporting children's individual needs

Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or 3 desirable)
