About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Nursing Home Manager to take the lead at a well-established and reputable nursing home offering care to up to 58 residents.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall day-to-day running of the home, ensuring it operates in accordance with CQC regulations, internal policies, and the highest standards of clinical and emotional care.

About the Service

This 58 -bed nursing home provides a wide range of specialist care, including:

  • Older Person Care

  • Dementia Care (all stages)

  • Permanent and Respite Care

  • Palliative / End-of-Life Care

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and other legal and regulatory requirements

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of care delivery, focusing on safety, dignity, and individual needs

  • Work closely with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and commissioners

  • Monitor clinical performance and standards through regular audits and quality assurance frameworks

  • Essential:
  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Home Manager in a nursing or residential care setting

  • Strong understanding of CQC regulations and experience with inspections

  • Leadership skills with the ability to inspire, manage, and develop a team

  • Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills

Desirable:
  • Current NMC registration (RGN / RMN / RNLD) - preferred but not essential

  • NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Health & Social Care or willingness to work towardse
