As part of this journey, the business is looking to strengthen its engineering team by appointing an experienced Night Shift Maintenance Engineer. Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct reactive and planned maintenance during night shifts to minimise downtime and ensure optimal performance of machinery.

* Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical issues in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

* Collaborate closely with the production team to ensure smooth and safe operation of equipment.

* Adhere strictly to health, safety, and food hygiene standards.

* Support continuous improvement and reliability projects across the site.

Requirements:

* Time-served or formally qualified in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).

* Proven experience working as a Night Shift Maintenance Engineer within an FMCG or food production environment.

* Strong skills in fault finding, breakdown response, and preventative maintenance.

* Ability to work independently and make key decisions during the night shift.

* Familiarity with CMMS systems and technical documentation.
