Production Engineer £34,000 - £35,000 + Benefits Walsall, West Midlands Monday to Friday (39 hour week)Are you a Production Engineer or similar with a background in a high pressure manufacturing facility, who is looking to join an innovative and forward thinking company, with plenty of development and scope to progress within?In this role you will initially go through specific machinery training, allowing you to successfully do the job. You will get involved in new product introduction as well as design requirements and specifications. You will use your knowledge of LEAN Manufacturing techniques to drive continuous improvement across the site.The company is an innovative designer and manufacturer of control panels, and have been at the forefront of technology for over 50 years. They are in a period of continued success, and are looking to bolster the production team to facilitate increased demand. The Role:

  • Specific machine training giving you the tools to be successful in the role
  • Oversee new product introduction, and general manufacturing needs
  • Drive continuous improvements through LEAN Manufacturing methods

The Person:

  • Production Engineer or similar
  • Faced paced manufacturing background
  • CI, LEAN, Design experience
