A leading figure in the Engineering sector are looking for an Offline CNC Programmer to join their supportive Stockport team.

What will you be doing as an Offline CNC Programmer?
* Programming 3 & 5 Axis CNC machines using CADCAM Hypermill
* Working across Haas, Correa and XYZ machines
* Calculating cutting paths and tool strategies for accurate machining
* Modifying and optimising existing CNC programs
* Interpreting engineering drawings and 3D models
* Improving tooling methods to reduce cycle times
* Supporting engineers on the shop floor with program queries
* Assisting with offline CNC program creation
* Training new team members where required
* Maintaining quality standards in line with BS EN ISO 9001
* Following and promoting workplace Health & Safety regulations
* Contributing to continuous improvement and process optimisation
What do you need?
* Knowledge of the Quality Standards to BS EN ISO 9001
* Familiarity of CADCAM software packages (Hypermill
* desirable)
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Apprenticeship served in a CNC Machining environment
