Our Client, a Greater Manchester council is seeking a Children’s Social Worker to join their LAC Team.

Responsibilities of this role:
- Undertake statutory social work responsibilities for children and young people who are looked after.
- Develop, implement, and review care plans in line with legal and procedural requirements.
- Build strong, supportive relationships with children, families, and carers to promote stability and positive outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with multi-agency professionals including health, education, and legal services.
- Prepare and present reports for court proceedings, reviews, and case conferences.
- Ensure all case recording is accurate, timely, and compliant with safeguarding standards.
- Advocate for the rights and needs of looked after children, ensuring their voice is central to decision-making.
- Participate in team meetings, supervision, and continuous professional development activities.
Requirements of this role:
- Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
- Must have minimum of 3 year's experience working as a Qualified social worker
