A growing IT managed services provider is looking to appoint a Project Manager to join its delivery team in Essex. This role is ideal for an experienced Project Manager who enjoys delivering structured IT projects within a client-facing environment. The successful Project Manager will oversee technical onboarding, service transition, and infrastructure change projects while working closely with internal technical specialists and client stakeholders. The organisation supports a wide range of businesses and delivers projects across areas such as infrastructure upgrades, IT migrations, and operational transitions. The Project Manager will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered smoothly, on time, and within agreed budgets while maintaining a strong focus on client experience.The Role & What We’re Looking For
  • Taking ownership as Project Manager for the successful delivery of technical onboarding, transition, and infrastructure projects
  • Coordinating engineers, subject matter experts, and third-party vendors to ensure project milestones are achieved
  • Developing and maintaining project plans, timelines, and delivery documentation
  • Identifying risks, managing issues, and ensuring appropriate mitigation strategies are in place
  • Communicating regularly with clients, senior stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure clear visibility of project progress
  • Managing budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation across assigned projects
  • Producing structured project reporting and documentation throughout the project lifecycle
  • Previous experience working as a Project Manager, or in a project delivery / transition role within IT
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the confidence to work with senior decision makers
  • Ability to understand IT environments and collaborate effectively with engineering teams
  • Experience using project planning tools and Microsoft Office applications
