Then my client's brand-new role of Sales Operations and Customer Service Team Leader could be just the job you're looking for.

About my client
Here at Foyne Jones, we're delighted to be working as the preferred recruiter with our client, a family run roofing business that has stores in London and the South East and an online website that sells over 100,000 products. Having recently created an additional trading website, they're now busy restructuring their e-commerce operations in line with their growth plans - hence this exciting new opportunity.

About the role
Reporting to the Website Manager, you'll be overseeing the day-to-day running of a busy sales, customer service and order processing team currently consisting of six people. As well as helping the team improve their knowledge of relevant procedures, you'll be tasked with ensuring they acquire new skills that enhance their performance and efficiency. Indeed, seeing that the team is meeting their targets and completing their own sales orders effectively using an in-house system will be key. Creating training programmes, maintaining the training areas and tools, regularly evaluating staff, and taking calls and supporting the customer service team in busy periods - these are just some aspects of a role where the challenge will be to create a cultured sales environment that delivers excellent service, helps build my client's reputation and supports their ambitious growth strategy.

About you
Already with a track record of success, you're a quick learner with a sharp mind, a positive attitude, and a highly professional manner. You also have a proven ability to coach, advise, motivate or implement change to create and maintain a high-performing sales operational team. Strong attention to detail, not only to ensure every order is processed and despatched on time, but to find areas for improvement and efficiency to create more capacity within the team, is essential too. And, when it comes to having the empathy and good listening skills it takes to resolve customer issues, you tick all those boxes too. Familiarity with CMS systems and/or experience in the roofing materials industry would be useful, but is not as essential as your polished sales and people management skills and enthusiasm for learning about my client's extensive product range.

In return, my client is offering an attractive salary package, including a quarterly company bonus scheme plus a bonus based on Trust Pilot score, and 20 days leave plus paid bank holidays, increasing incrementally based on years of service.
