Nursery Assistant - Oxford

Pay Scale: £89.00-£100.00 per day

Start Date: SeptemberQualification: Level 2 Early Years qualification (or equivalent) - required

We are currently seeking a dedicated and qualified nursery assistant to join a team in Oxford. This is a full-time position in a well-established, supportive nursery setting.

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and caring nursery assistant who holds a Level 2 Early Years qualification (or equivalent). You should be passionate about working with young children and committed to providing a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the team in delivering age-appropriate learning activities
• Assist in the care and supervision of children throughout the day
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating environment
• Work closely with colleagues and support the daily running of the room
• Build strong and positive relationships with children, staff, and parents

Requirements:

• Level 2+ qualification in Early Years (or equivalent)
• Previous experience as a nursery assistant (desirable but not essential)
• A caring and responsible approach
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• An understanding of safeguarding and basic health & safety
