Our client is one of biggest financial services in North America.
They are looking for EU Trading operation support Analyst to join the teams in London. Permanent, 4 days in office. Salary is up to £80k or match your expectation + 10-20% bonus and benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installing and upgrading software on EU Servers in EU data centres
- Evaluate technical issues with connectivity to clients, brokers, venues
- Understanding message protocols for market data feeds and order entry line handlers
- Setting up and maintain local Real Time and periodic reports
- Data analysis/SQL based type queries
- Client and venue/broker certification and testing
- Support the Operations/Sales teams
- Maintain Real Time market data feed and manage deployments (redline)
- Identify production bugs and create tickets for 3rd line support
- Build and maintain automated/manual portal testing suite
- Create and maintain both client facing and internal technical documentation (Eg. FIX specs, Regulatory specs, Confluence pages, etc)
- Integrate internal systems across regions and maintain system configurations
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or Computer Science preferred, equivalent experience would be considered
- Prior experience in trading or trade support environment
- Knowledge of financial markets and technology
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong computer skills and excellent organisational skills
- 3-5 years' experience in FIX protocol
- Must be knowledgeable with Windows & Linux OS platforms, command line
- Candidate must have outstanding verbal and written communication skills, and demonstrate command in prioritisation and reporting project status
- Self-motivated, able to work and excel autonomously on job responsibilities
- Desire to define and execute new, repeatable business processes
