I am currently recruiting an Import Clerk on behalf of my rapidly growing client based in Colchester. This position would be very well suited to someone who is really looking to grow and develop a career within the shipping/logistics industry.  

Main duties include:

• Booking Import Jobs from start to finish for Freight, Sea & Air Shipments
• Preparing customs clearance
• Booking deliveries
• Issuing quotes to new and existing customers
• Datafreight entries
• Keeping the customers updated on where their deliveries are
• Liaising with overseas agents on a regular basis

The ideal candidate: 

• Import/Export experience preferred
• Good communication skills
• Excellent customer service
• Good attention to detail
• IT Literate
