Tradewind are recruiting! Are you looking for you next role teaching Music Teacher - Part Time in a great school located in Lambeth?
Tradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with this Client, a well-regarded secondary school in Lambeth, to recruit a talented and enthusiastic Part-Time Music Teacher to start straight after half term, 2 days per week. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a creative and supportive school environment where the arts are valued. Interviews will be arranged immediately.
The Role
- Teaching Music across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Part-time timetable within a collaborative and well-resourced department
- Planning and delivering engaging practical and theory-based lessons
- Assessing, monitoring and supporting student progress
- Start date: March (maternity cover)
Job Role Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
- Experience teaching Music at secondary level
- Strong subject knowledge across performance, composition and music theory
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of all musical abilities
- Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
Qualifications & Person Specification
- UK-recognised teaching qualification with QTS
- Experience teaching KS3 & KS4 Music
- Passionate, creative and well-organised practitioner
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student achievement
