Tradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with this Client, a well-regarded secondary school in Lambeth, to recruit a talented and enthusiastic Part-Time Music Teacher to start straight after half term, 2 days per week. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a creative and supportive school environment where the arts are valued. Interviews will be arranged immediately.

The Role

• Teaching Music across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Part-time timetable within a collaborative and well-resourced department
• Planning and delivering engaging practical and theory-based lessons
• Assessing, monitoring and supporting student progress
• Start date: March (maternity cover)

Job Role Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
• Experience teaching Music at secondary level
• Strong subject knowledge across performance, composition and music theory
• Ability to inspire and motivate students of all musical abilities
• Effective classroom and behaviour management skills

Qualifications & Person Specification

• UK-recognised teaching qualification with QTS
• Experience teaching KS3 & KS4 Music
• Passionate, creative and well-organised practitioner
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student achievement
