Sales Order Administrator

Location: St Ives, Cambridgeshire (office-based)

Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:30am-17:00pm and Friday 08:30am-16:30pm

Salary: £Negotiable DOE

We're looking for an organised and proactive team player to join our client's busy order fulfilment team. In this role, you'll be at the heart of operations—processing customer orders, liaising with couriers and internal teams!

Job Duties:

* Support dispatch administration and liaise with purchasing on special order items

* Process sales orders accurately and coordinate timely, cost-effective dispatch

* Provide customers with order updates and relevant documentation

* Maintain accurate internal records and verify courier invoices for billing accuracy

* Work with couriers to arrange shipments and secure competitive rates

* Monitor stock and collaborate with the warehouse and other teams to meet delivery priorities

What we are looking for:

* Previous experience in an administrative role

* Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word

* A clear and professional communicator who can work well both independently and as part of a team

* Experience in a warehouse, dispatch, or logistics environment would be a bonus
