Salary: £350 - £425/day

We are seeking an experienced Planned Delivery Manager on an interim basis to lead the delivery of planned maintenance, cyclical decoration, and improvement programmes across a housing portfolio. This role is 4 days from home and 1 in the office and is an excellent opportunity. Initial contract duration circa 3 months.

The Role

As a Planned Delivery Manager, you will:

* Lead and motivate a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional service to our residents.

* Oversee the delivery of major works, improvement programmes, and cyclical maintenance, ensuring compliance with legislation and best practices.

* Work strategically with departments such as Housing, Development, and Health & Safety to coordinate services and maintain asset management policies.

* Ensure budgets and trading accounts are proactively managed, achieving income targets through data-driven decisions and effective resource planning.

* Drive performance against key KPIs including timeliness, customer satisfaction, and budget control.

* Ensure the integration of mobile working solutions and accurate data updates across systems.

* Support a strong culture of health and safety, ensuring full CDM compliance and best practice risk management.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Performance Management

* Set clear goals aligned with corporate and business plans.

* Monitor service delivery against internal and external benchmarks.

* Identify and implement service improvements and cost-saving initiatives.

* Manage and review contract performance to ensure quality and compliance.

Team Leadership

* Lead, manage and develop a team of surveyors and administrators to achieve service excellence.

* Conduct regular 1:1s, appraisals and team meetings to ensure staff are supported, informed, and engaged.

* Support staff development, recruitment, and retention, and respond proactively to performance issues.

Financial & Contract Management

* Ensure robust financial controls and value-for-money across all operations.

* Prepare forecasts, manage expenditure, and monitor budgets.

* Manage contracts and supplier relationships, ensuring efficiency and compliance with procurement procedures.

Customer Focus

* Champion excellent customer service across all aspects of delivery.

* Monitor customer satisfaction and act on feedback to improve services.

* Resolve complaints effectively through the appropriate resolution framework.

About You

You'll bring:

* Proven experience in delivering planned maintenance and capital works in a housing or property management environment.

* Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.

* Experience in managing budgets, contracts, and suppliers.

* A solid understanding of health and safety legislation, CDM, and compliance requirements.

* Excellent communication, organisational and analytical skills.

* The ability to work collaboratively across departments to deliver integrated solutions
