Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Vertex Tax Consultant to support a global Vertex tax rollout, with a strong focus on hands-on implementation and configuration. The consultant will work closely with finance, tax, and ERP stakeholders to ensure accurate tax determination across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead implementation and configuration of Vertex tax solutions (O Series/Cloud)

• Configure indirect tax rules, rates, jurisdictions, and exemptions

• Support global rollout activities, including country-specific tax requirements

• Integrate Vertex with ERP platforms (Oracle/SAP/other)

• Troubleshoot tax calculation issues and support UAT

• Work with business and technical teams to ensure compliant tax outcomes

• Provide documentation, knowledge transfer, and post-go-live support

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Vertex Tax Consultant

• Hands-on Vertex implementation and configuration experience (not advisory only)

• Strong understanding of indirect taxes (VAT, GST, Sales & Use Tax)

• Experience supporting global or multi-country tax rollouts

• ERP integration experience (Oracle preferred)

• Able to work independently in a delivery-focused environment
