Area Sales Manager - Materials Handling (Northamptonshire / Cambridgeshire)

A leading provider of materials handling equipment and warehouse solutions is looking to recruit an experienced Area Sales Manager to develop and grow business across Northamptonshire and Cambridgeshire.

This is a field-based role focused on developing new business while managing and expanding existing accounts across sectors such as logistics, manufacturing, warehousing and distribution. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying opportunities, building strong customer relationships and delivering tailored equipment solutions.

The Role

Manage and develop a defined sales territory across Northamptonshire and Cambridgeshire

*

Identify and win new business opportunities within logistics, manufacturing and industrial sectors

*

Manage and grow existing customer accounts, increasing revenue and long-term partnerships

*

Promote a range of materials handling equipment, fleet solutions and service packages

*

Conduct site visits, assess customer requirements and present tailored proposals

*

Maintain a strong pipeline and deliver consistent territory growth

The Candidate

*

Proven field sales experience within materials handling, plant hire, equipment rental or a related sector

*

Strong track record of winning new business and growing accounts

*

Comfortable managing a territory and building relationships with decision makers

*

Highly motivated, proactive and commercially driven

*

Full UK driving licence required
