Salary: £2,500 - £3,000 NET per month

This vibrant and trendy brunch café restaurant located in the heart of Lagos, Nigeria. Known for our delectable brunch menu and inviting atmosphere, they pride themselves on delivering exceptional culinary experiences. We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team and elevate our culinary offerings. This is a renovation and the cafe is opening its doors in a month from now with 100 seat capacity in total.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and design innovative brunch menus that cater to diverse tastes and dietary preferences.
• Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
• Ensure the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety are maintained.
• Oversee food preparation and presentation to ensure consistency and excellence.
• Manage inventory, order supplies, and control kitchen costs to maximize profitability.
• Collaborate with restaurant management to create seasonal specials and promotional menus.
• Maintain a positive and professional kitchen environment, fostering teamwork and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a reputable restaurant or café.
• Strong culinary skills with a passion for brunch cuisine and creative presentation.
• International experience is a plus.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• English fluent
