Part-Time Teacher of Science - Wirral Secondary School
Pay: Up to £232.56 per day (depending on experience)
Days: Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday (potential to become full-time)
Start: Long-term position

Tradewind Recruitment are working in partnership with a secondary school in Wirral who are seeking a part-time Teacher of Science to join their team. This long-term role is an excellent opportunity for a committed Science specialist who is passionate about delivering high-quality lessons and raising attainment across Key Stage 3 (KS3), Key Stage 4 (KS4) and Key Stage 5 (KS5).

The Role:

Teaching Science across KS3, KS4 and KS5 to mixed-ability groups

Planning, preparing and delivering engaging lessons that meet curriculum requirements

Monitoring and assessing pupil progress, providing constructive feedback

Working collaboratively with the Science department and wider school community

Managing classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a positive learning environment

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent

Strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry and Physics

Previous secondary school teaching experience (KS3-KS5 desirable)

Excellent classroom management and organisational skills

A passion for inspiring young people in Science
