Cloudbeds is a travel industry startup that works to make the world a more welcome place. We make advanced cloud-based hospitality software for hotels, hostels, vacation rentals and groups that manages reservations and guests, distributes room availability, sells inventory, and collects payments. Our hundreds of team members are distributed across over 30 countries and, altogether, we speak 20+ languages. How do we do it? As a Business Development Manager, Partnerships your primary focus will be to create a systematic, process-driven approach to partner relationship management and execute the partnership engagement strategy across North America delivering quantifiable results with marketplace and distribution partners in travel and hospitality.

This role requires you to be creative, collaborative, and eager to tackle new grounds. You will need the ability to engage and cultivate relationships with both marketplace partners and distribution partners, quickly assessing the attractiveness of potential opportunities.

Location: Remote - United States

What You Will Do: (Roles and Responsibilities)

  • Cultivate and develop new and existing partner relationships in North America with the end goal of getting the partner to promote Cloudbeds.
  • Manage the relationship with regional and global Online Travel and Distribution Agencies (OTA's) and Travel Companies conducting regular meetings and business reviews representing the interest of Cloudbeds and its customers and users.
  • Manage growth and monetization of existing partners through scalable programs.
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to assess the viability of potential new business and channel opportunities.
  • Drive collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure delivery of key business objectives, channel revenue deliverable and related product enhancement initiatives
  • Represent Cloudbeds as subject matter expert at industry events and forums

You'll Succeed With: (Skills, Job Requirements)

  • A Bachelor's degree required;
  • 5+ years of experience required with at least 3-5 years in technology, and consulting, business development, account management, digital marketing and/or professional services experience.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in the travel industry required, previous experience with travel technology products ideal
  • Proven ability to develop long term relationships with both internal and external customers. A team player who can lead by influence.
  • Exceptional communication skills, public speaker with ease and conviction, a true ambassador.
  • Flexibility to work across multiple time zones.
