Reeson Education is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Playworker to join a welcoming primary school in Walthamstow. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Playworker who enjoys supporting children in a fun, structured and nurturing after-school environment.

This Playworker role is Monday to Friday, working 3:15pm-6:00pm, term-time only. The school is seeking a committed Playworker who has experience working in a school or nursery setting and can help create a positive, safe and engaging wraparound provision for pupils.

Hourly Rate: £13.69-£15.87

Schedule: 3:15pm-6:00pm

Days: Monday-Friday (term-time only)

Location: Walthamstow, Waltham Forest

Start Date: ASAP

What You Will Do as a Playworker

Supervise and engage children in play-based, creative and structured activities

Support behaviour, routines and positive interactions

Help set up and pack away resources for after school club

Ensure children are safe, occupied and supported at all times

Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff

Follow safeguarding and school policies consistently

Requirements for a Playworker

MUST have experience working in a school, nursery, or children's setting

Warm, energetic and confident with groups of primary-aged children

Reliable, punctual and committed to working every afternoon

Able to create fun, engaging activities that support social and emotional development

Strong communication and ability to work well with staff teams
