I am supporting a client in Essex looking for an experienced Sales Manager to join the team.
You will manage a successful sales region, leading a team of Sales Consultants who sell high-quality windows, doors, and home extensions. You'll work with strong leads, a trusted brand, and great products to deliver strong sales results.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Team - Recruit, train, and support Sales Consultants to perform at their best.
- Drive Sales Performance - Meet and exceed regional sales and profit targets.
- Support Big Sales - Help your team close high-value deals and step in when needed.
- Follow Up Leads - Ensure all quotes are followed up and converted into sales.
- Coach & Improve - Provide regular feedback, training, and support to improve results.
- Deliver Great Service - Make sure every customer has a professional and positive experience.
- Know the Products - Maintain strong knowledge of products, pricing, finance options, and regulations.
- Manage Performance - Track results, address underperformance, and reward success.
- Work with Marketing - Help improve lead generation and conversion rates.
- Handle Issues - Deal with customer queries or complaints quickly and professionally.
About You
- Experienced sales leader in home improvement (windows, glazing, or extensions) a MUST
- Strong background in extension sales
- Proven ability to hit and exceed sales targets
- Confident leader who can recruit, coach, and motivate a team
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Commercially aware and customer-focused
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Experience with design software (e.g. Udesign) is a bonus
- Full UK driving licence and willing to travel
