Lighting Design Engineer - Telford OR Redditch Operating since 1967, my client is a group of 10 factories manufacturing and supplying professional lighting solutions into the UK market through 400+ City Electrical Factors electrical distribution branches.Worldwide there are approximately 1000 CEF branches in addition to dozens of in-house manufacturing sites. JOB OVERVIEWLooking for an enthusiastic Lighting Design Engineer to join the lighting design team. The role will help provide quality lighting designs to our customers and sales team. This is an opportunity in a business focused on providing excellent service. Over time, the successful individual would be exposed to a wide range of industries and given the support and training to complete their day-to-day activities. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business with excellent training and opportunities to grow into a specialised design role.  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES As a Lighting Design Engineer, you will be responsible for undertaking various projects from tenders and alternatives to large-scale designs. You will manage design requests and be able to manage your workload to meet customer deadlines. Interact daily with sales and customer service to provide up-to-date design information. Complete 2D lighting schemes to demonstrate where lights would be situated within a building. PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Excellent organisational and administrative skills
• Lighting Design background
• Experience using AutoCAD
• Experience using Relux or Dialux

LOCATIONThe role is based on-site at our Telford offices. No hybrid or Remote work is available. Expected hours are 8 am-5:30 pm Monday – Friday. This may be reduced by 1 hour for the right candidate.SALARY RANGEUp to £40,000 per annum depending on experience. A bonus scheme can become available following probation.
