I'm currently partnering a local authority with a Service Manager Corporate Parenting position and wondered if this would be of interest to either yourself, or any colleagues within your network?
Whilst the team looks to appoint a substantive postholder, my client is looking for an experienced leader for an initial 3-6 month period with expertise within Corporate Parenting
 
Hybrid working is required for this position to meet the needs of the service with a  minimum of 1-3 days on site per week

About your role as the Service Manager Corporate Parenting:

Collaborating with the seconded post holder delivering a strategic programme driving permanency across children's services; in addition to peer leaders, this will be a key role within the service
Operate within Restorative practice for CLA. Support with the review of the practice model including considerations of PLO to help improve outcomes
Oversight of 3 direct reports, Team Manager and their respective teams
Driving continuous improvement of the well established team with a commitment to practice improvement and quality supervision 
Your required experience as the Service Manager Corporate Parenting:

More than 18 months experience at a minimum in an Senior Service Manager or Service Manager role or higher with clear expertise within CLA services
Active registration with Social Care England
You will be a leader operating with a high challenge, high support nature and with a demonstrable track record in practice improvement/innovation.
Available references for most recent 2 year's roles and Enhanced DBS will be required
