A friendly and inclusive primary school in Gateshead is looking for a motivated Part-Time KS1 Teaching Assistant to support pupils in Key Stage 1.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping younger pupils develop confidence and build strong foundations in learning.

The role is part-time, term time only, working between 8.30am and 3.30pm.

The Role

As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will support children as they begin their learning journey, helping them feel safe, engaged, and ready to explore.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Supporting children during play-based learning activities
• Helping pupils develop early communication and social skills
• Assisting with phonics, early literacy, and numeracy
• Encouraging curiosity, creativity, and independence
• Working closely with the class teacher and early years team
