Teacher with QTS Needed - Westminster, London

Strategy Education are recruiting for a Teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) to work in a year 5 classroom of a primary school in North Westminster, London.

The successful Teacher will plan and deliver lessons, manage the classroom, support students' learning and development, assess progress, and communicate with parents and colleagues. This will be a full time role with a fixed term of one year, with the possibility of this becoming a permanent post.

The role will be for a September 2025 start. The school is looking for this to be a permanent role. The school is 'Outstanding' Ofsted rated, has good transport links and is in a caring, friendly and nurturing environment. Applications from 2025 ECTs, experienced main pay scale teachers and upper pay scale teachers are welcome.

This will be paid to the London scale.

Essential Qualities and Skills:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

* Experience teaching Key Stage 2 (preferably Year 5)

* A strong understanding of the National Curriculum

* Ability to plan, deliver and assess engaging and differentiated lessons

* Excellent classroom management and behaviour strategies

* Ability to motivate and inspire pupils to achieve their best

* Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

* Strong communication skills with pupils, parents, and colleagues

* Good organisational and time-management skills

Desirable Attributes:

* Experience preparing pupils for SATs or end-of-key-stage assessments

* Familiarity with assessment and tracking systems
