Copello are pleased to be partnered with a major defence organisation based in Lancashire who are recruiting for a Digital Environment & Test Team Manager to join a significant programme working on imperative and key deliverables for the future of UK Defence.

Based in Warton, Lancashire, the Digital Environment & Test Manager will be able to work flexibly and on a hybrid basis splitting time between the office and a home office approximately 50% of the time.

Joining an establish and highly capable and agile team, the focus will be on developing Functional Requirement Specification (FRS) and planning and leading Test plans and building test environments.

The successful Test Team Manager will preferably come from a Software of Systems Engineering background with experience working within a virtual testing environment.

Key responsibilities will include;

* Managing a team of specialist engineers both internally and with external suppliers and partners

* Work closely with stakeholders and regularly review requirements

* Drive the onward development of MBSE (model based systems engineering)

* Regularly perform assessments using system level user cases for both requirement validation and operator assessment

To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must have proven experience of MATLAB/ Simulink, along with experience of virtual testing. It would also be essential for the successful Test Team Manager to have experience leading and developing a team in a similar environment.
