Westlakes Recruit are currently recruiting for a Head of Nuclear Ventilation on a permanent basis in either Bristol, Warrington or Cumbria.
- Hybrid working will be supported.

Due to my clients exciting pipeline of work, we are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Head of Nuclear Ventilation for delivery of our current portfolio of work. You will need to be focused on growing our Nuclear Ventilation capability in line with the demand from our clients and new opportunities.
You will have the vision and passion we need to strengthen our offering, undertaking a business development role as well engineering capability management and governance. You will lead the development of a strong and agile team to whom you will provide leadership and robust management. In your role, you will be the first point of direct contact with clients, partners and contractors. You will develop the contacts required to grow our ventilation engineering business, building on a demonstrable specialism in this area.
Here's what you'll do:

• Deliver technical expertise in nuclear ventilation, providing guidance and support to team members
• Develop a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the nuclear ventilation engineering capability
• Provide leadership and governance to the nuclear ventilation capability
• Grow the nuclear capability in line with demand from clients and new opportunities
• Seek new opportunities from Clients for future work
• Grow early careers personnel via mentoring and support
• Lead recruitment for the ventilation team
• Focus on development and training of the vent capability to ensure a diverse SQEP (Suitably Qualified and Experience team.
• Stay abreast of new opportunities arising within the nuclear ventilation sector
• Support bids as a subject matter expert in field
• Collaborate with industry partners to develop a supply chain network
