We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Team Manager - Service Manager for our Birmingham location.

Role Overview:

As the Team Manager - Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our supported living service in Birmingham. You will manage a team of support staff and ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support to our service users. This is a great opportunity for a team leader looking to step up to a managerial role and make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable adults.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a team of support staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management
Ensure the delivery of person-centered care and support to service users
Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders
Monitor and maintain the service's compliance with regulatory standards and company policies
Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure the smooth running of the service
Participate in on-call duties as required
Contribute to the development and implementation of service improvement plans
Act as a role model for the team and promote a positive and inclusive work cultureRequirements:

Previous experience in a leadership or management role in a similar setting
Strong knowledge and understanding of the needs of adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage and motivate a team effectively
Good understanding of regulatory requirements and quality standards
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent (desirable)We Offer:
