About the Role
We are working with a leading national Facilities Management provider who is seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Electrician to join their team, covering the Inverness area. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a portfolio of commercial contracts, delivering both planned and reactive maintenance while ensuring compliance, safety, and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

*

Carry out PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and reactive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment across commercial sites.

*

Diagnose and repair electrical faults quickly and efficiently.

*

Perform statutory testing including emergency lighting, fire alarms, and compliance checks.

*

Work closely with FM helpdesk, clients, and other engineers to ensure service delivery within agreed SLAs.

*

Complete service reports and maintain accurate job records.

*

Participate in an on-call rota to provide out-of-hours support when required.

*

Always adhere to Health & Safety regulations and company policies.

Skills & Experience

*

Previous experience as a Maintenance or Commercial Electrician within the FM sector.

*

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, testing, and fault-finding.

*

Ability to manage workload independently across multi-site contracts.

*

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

*

Flexible and reliable with a proactive approach.

Qualifications & Certifications

*

18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential).

*

City & Guilds 2365 / 2391 (or equivalent NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations).

*

Testing & Inspection (2391 or equivalent) desirable.

*

Full UK Driving Licence.

*

CSCS / Health & Safety certifications advantageous.
