Job Title: Buyer - PPE Procurement
Location: London (Office-Based, 5 Days per Week)

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Buyer to join a leading Tier 1 contractor based in London. This is a key role responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) across multiple projects and business units. You will play a critical role in ensuring site teams are equipped with high-quality, compliant, and cost-effective PPE.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage the full procurement lifecycle for PPE, from sourcing and supplier selection to order placement and delivery

* Develop and maintain strong relationships with PPE suppliers and manufacturers

* Negotiate pricing, contracts, and supply agreements to achieve best value

* Monitor stock levels and forecast demand in line with project requirements

* Ensure all PPE meets relevant health, safety, and compliance standards

* Work closely with site teams, health & safety, and commercial departments to understand operational needs

* Track market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supply chain risks

* Maintain accurate procurement records and reporting

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Buyer, preferably within construction or a related industry

* Strong knowledge of PPE products, standards, and supply chains

* Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills

* Highly organised with strong attention to detail

* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

* Proficient in procurement systems and Microsoft Office

* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
