The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Shift Engineer to join a high-profile commercial building in the City of London. Working a continental shift pattern (days and nights), you will be part of a dedicated on-site engineering team responsible for maintaining critical building systems and ensuring maximum uptime.

Key Responsibilities

Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPMs)

*

Electrical fault finding and reactive maintenance

*

Maintenance of critical electrical systems

*

Working on 3-phase systems and power distribution

*

Emergency lighting testing and maintenance

*

Fire alarm testing and basic maintenance

*

Supporting mechanical plant where required

*

Ensuring statutory compliance and completion of logbooks

*

Escorting and supervising subcontractors

*

Responding to building emergencies and breakdowns

What We're Looking For

*

City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent

*

18th Edition Wiring Regulations

*

Experience working within commercial or critical environments

*

Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

*

Experience with 3-phase systems and building services plant

*

Ability to work effectively within a shift team
